Can't get playback on inserted measures
I inserted measures 35-42 on my score and can't get playback on those measures. When I hit play it jumps back to Coda in measure 3. All the other measures play normally. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

DS al Coda in m34 jumps to Segno in m3
It gets to the "to coda" instruction and jumps to the Coda in m43.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I want to get playback on measures 35-42 but can't. These are measures that I inserted so I suspect it might have something to do with the measures having been inserted.

Yes, it jumps to the Coda as it should but that's beside the point. Even when I highlight the first bar of measure 35 I get no playback.

Try removing the sign between measures 2 and 3 and then highlight the rest in measure 35. It plays. This seems like some sort of bug. The only thing I can suggest is to use other methods of getting the repeat action you want, or write it out longhand. Musescore repeats work for the most part but there's still bugs to shake out.

MuseScore reads the score and builds a playback. You can click on the notes in those measures and hear them (they are "real" notes) but when you try to play them nothing happens because they are not in the playback that MuseScore has mapped out
Same thing happens with the attached score.
Is it a bug? I'd say, No. Why you expect that a part of the score that is orphaned off from the main score should play back? Can you drift down a river - yes; can you drift down an ox-bow lake that is no longer part of the river - no.

Haha! Great analogy. You're right, removing the Coda sign allows it to play. Thanks everyone for your input. Appreciate it!
I do not know exactly what you wanted, but look at my solution in case it solves your problem.

I tried opening your file but it says it was saved using a newer version of Musescore Studio. Are you working with an experimental version? If not, then you score is corrupted and you should re-upload.

Yep, 4.6.0 apparently.

So then I was right....you ARE from the future! Tell me, Futureboy, what are the New York Lottery numbers in that year of yours? And who is the President? Don't tell me it's Diddy. I knew it!

We no longer have a president. Instead, we are blessed with the lifetime leader "el supremo naranja".
Bad news on the NY Lottery, too: following el supremo's earlier ban on the US Diversity Visa Lottery, it was decided safest to ban all lotteries.
